These workshops are great for anyone who is new to the idea of gut health impacting health & wellbeing, or anyone wanting to get into fermenting their own veg but haven’t quite made the steps to doing it yet.
The format of the workshop is quite informal, starting with a talk about gut health led by nutritional therapist Lucy Kay
– what it is, how it works, what problems can arise in the gut and how that can impact us overall. This leads us into talking about what factors can affect our gut health and what we can do to mitigate those affects and boost our gut health.
Fermentalist Simon Praxis Jones
of Praxis Probiotics
takes us on a journey of discovery as he shows us exactly what’s involved in making sauerkraut, and demonstrates the true simplicity and wonder of probiotic fermented veg! He explains the process in detail and there’s plenty of opportunity for questions.
It’s a really lovely, down to earth workshop that gives you a really good insight into the wonders of the digestive system and will leave you feeling confident and motivated to look after your gut… starting with making your own beautiful probiotic sauerkraut.
